Ride Maintenance Tech Positions

About this position:

Ride maintenance techs are hired full-time. Winter work is Monday through Friday. Our season, when we are open to the public, runs mid-March daily through Spring Vacations, weekends until May, gradually during May opening to 7 days a week, continuing 7 days a week through the summer season, through Labor Day and then weekends only during September. During our season, maintenance techs work 5 days a week and the days off are not the same as during the winter.

We supply tools and work clothes. 

​

Even though we need fantastic people with the skills listed below, maintenance techs are part of a small team and help with any maintenance needed in the park even if it is not specifically rides.

Pay is based on skills and experience.

​

Requirements for this position are:
Mechanical expertise
Troubleshooting, repair and installation of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors and pumps
Electrical troubleshooting skills for both low voltage and high voltage
Safety conscious
Willing to take direction
Ability to work as part of a team
Attention to detail
Good communication skills
Ability to work in all weather conditions
Ability to walk up and down hills
Must be able to climb up and down ladders and work in high environments
During our operating season, must be available to work weekends and holidays
Must have a valid Driver's License
Candidates must be able to pass pre-employment screening (Drug screen and background check)
